drugstore concealers
Here is my updated roundup of the best drugstore concealers available in 2022!
Drugstore makeup isn’t what it used to be. Not that long ago, I would have bypassed the drugstore entirely if I wanted anything close to full-coverage or long-wearing. I am thrilled to report that it is no longer necessary to spend $25+ on concealers from high-end brands when the drugstore offers plenty of comparable options.
I’ve listed my top concealer picks in no particular order, so be sure to skim through the entire post for the full spectrum of concealer favorites!
*UPDATED: New drugstore concealers have been released since this post was originally published. In order to keep this info current and super helpful, I have changed some of my top drugstore concealer picks to keep up with the times. I plan on updating consistently as new products are released!

L’Oreal True Match Eye Cream In A Concealer
If you’re lazy like me, then you’re probably looking for all the 2-in-1 products you can find. I know I am. This product combines the benefits of both a concealer and an eye cream. The texture feels more like a lightweight moisturizer than a concealer, but still provides good concealing power. | ⇢ READ REVIEWS

e.l.f. Hydrating Camo Concealer
A welcome addition to the e.l.f. Camo Concealer line. With makeup trends leaning on the more natural and dewy side these days, I think e.l.f. has a winner with this one. This formula is more lightweight and than its 16HR counterpart, but it still provides great coverage, without the dryness. | ⇢ READ REVIEWS

e.l.f. 16HR Camo Concealer
If you want full coverage at a fraction of the cost, then I think this is your best bet. This formula is highly pigmented and conceals even the darkest of undereyes. The matte finish works well for normal to oily skin. | ⇢ READ REVIEWS

L’Oreal Age Perfect Radiant Concealer
This gorgeous new concealer from L’Oreal just might be my new favorite. It is a lightweight concealer that is perfect for brightening your undereyes without the appearance of a full coverage concealer. I find that it is a perfect accompaniment for light makeup days, when I want my undereye area to look brightened, but still congruent with the rest of my skin in terms of coverage. But be warned, the formula does contain a small amount of sparkles, so avoid this concealer if you are opposed to any shimmer. | ⇢ READ REVIEWS

Neutrogena Radiant Cream Concealer
For people with sensitive skin, Neutrogena is a great brand to shop for non-comedogenic products that still work really well. This concealer is hydrating without being greasy, and provides light to medium coverage for a natural face. | ⇢ READ REVIEWS

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer
Well, hello there, old friend! This has been my default drugstore concealer for years. When I just want something simple and brainless, I reach for this. The formula is lightweight and gives me medium coverage. I love it for days when I don’t want to mess with a full face of makeup. Just a swipe under each eye and a quick blend around my nose and I’m done. | ⇢ READ REVIEWS

Milani Conceal + Perfect Longwear Concealer
A counterpart to Milani’s well-loved Conceal + Perfect Foundation. I don’t know how they do it, but Milani has achieved the impossible with the Conceal + Perfect line. The formulas provide awesome coverage by melting into your skin, rather than sitting on top of your skin like face paint. This drugstore concealer is hydrating and dries down to a natural finish: not too matte and not too dewy. | ⇢ READ REVIEWS

L’Oreal Infallible Full Wear Concealer
Calling all Tarte Shape Tape lovers, this one is for you! This drugstore concealer is delightfully full coverage and heavy, in a good way. It dries down matte and sticks to your imperfections all day long. And it’s even packaged to look like a Shape Tape tube. | ⇢ READ REVIEWS

Pacifica Liquid Cover Concealer
If you’re looking for something more natural, this is the most highly-rated natural option I have found at the drugstore. I haven’t tried it myself, but reviewers say that the coverage is medium to full and it is hydrating, not drying. | ⇢ READ REVIEWS

NYX Born to Glow Radiant Concealer
This is the first concealer I’ve seenin a while with a sponge-tip applicator. I used to not be a fan of this style, but I’ve come to the conclusion that it is not really any different than using a common doe-foot applicator. Something to note is that this formula does dry down quickly, so blend as speedily as you can, and your concealer isn’t going anywhere after that! | ⇢ READ REVIEWS

HONORABLE MENTION: Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer
An OG favorite that is, in my opinion, the originator of full-coverage concealers in the mainstream. The applicator still isn’t my favorite, but the formula makes up for it. The thin and mousse-y formula swipes on easily, and then you can blend it however you like. However much you blend, it still doesn’t crease or look heavy thanks to the lightweight texture. | ⇢ READ REVIEWS

Everybody talks about the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind like it is a miracle, but for me it was just okay. Not bad, but not amazing.
Genevieve says
My favorite is concealer is the Covergirl and Olay concealer that comes in the little pot. It covers so well and it makes my undereye area look moisturized not crackly.

I loved that one too, but I haven’t seen it in a while. It drives me nuts when great products are discontinued; I sure hope it isn’t. Thanks so much for reading 🙂 xo

Great post, I love so many of these concealers! The Elf concealer is my absolute favorite. I think a lot of people would think it would suck because it’s Elf, but it’s actually really amazing!
