Drugstore blushes are either really amazing, or depressingly mediocre. I’ve weeded through all the lackluster options and present to you only the best of the best!
I feel like it wasn’t all that long ago when drugstore blushes were basically all the same shade of chalky pink. Thankfully, those days are long gone.
Drugstore brands are filling stores with all kinds of blush shades and finishes. But that doesn’t mean they’re all winners.
This is a roundup of my favorite blushes at the drugstore. I love them all for one reason or another, so make sure you read through the entire post to find out which drugstore blush is best for you!
Milani Baked Blush // Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso is my everyday staple blush. When I don’t know what to wear, or I just don’t want to think about it, I reach for this one. The peachy shade looks very natural on my skin, and it contains the slightest amount of sparkle. It really livens up my skin, and I don’t even need a highlighter when I use it.
e.l.f. Primer-Infused Blush // If sparkle isn’t your thing, then e.l.f. Cosmetics Primer-Infused Blush is all the matte goodness you could ever ask for! I can tell that this is meant to be a workhorse blush that you can throw on and forget all day. It comes in four shades, one that would look nude on one of the skin tone groups: Fair, Light, Tan/Golden, and Deep.

e.l.f. Cosmetics Powder Blush Palette // e.l.f. Cosmetics face palette quads are my go-to face palettes for travel! The powders are great quality, and the individual pans pop out so that you can mix and match shades from multiple palettes. Watch out though, the palettes are very pigmented so use them sparingly and always tap off your brush.

Milani Rose Powder Blush // These are great if you love a soft, barely there, blush look. The shades are muted, but they aren’t un-pigmented by any means. They’re also matte, so if you really want to control the shimmer on your face, these are a good option.
L’Oréal True Match Super Blendable Blush // Ah, L’Oréal Super Blendable. I used to make fun of this line, calling it “Super Blandable.” It’s true, they don’t have the flashiest packaging or the wildest colors, but there is a reason they have stuck around so long. The shades are pigmented, but still easy to work with. And the shades are curated to work with whatever skin you have. It takes the guesswork out of finding a flattering shade of blush. I think these are a great basic to have in your collection.
Covergirl Cheekers Blush // Covergirl recently underwent a bit of a rebranding, and they came out Cruelty Free! Isn’t that awesome? Like L’Oréal’s blush, these aren’t the most exciting products to get your hands on, but they do their job wonderfully. The formula has just a hint of shimmer that helps it blend into your face like it was there all along. Plus, the small and slim packaging makes for a great travel companion.
Sleek MakeUP Blush By 3 Palette // If you’re falling asleep just reading about those blushes I mentioned above, then you’ll want to wake up for this one. Sleek may not be the most well-known brand, but their blush palette packs a punch! It comes is several configurations, some bright and colorful, and others more muted. Each features a mix of matte and shimmery shades.

Wet N Wild Coloricon Blush // Finally, this is another OG drugstore blush option that has been around for years. It’s pigmented, long wearing, and is a steal at $2.99. If you are on a budget and need a drugstore blush that just works, I highly recommend this one!
