Winter Outfits December
Winter Outfits December
This year, I’m making #PajamaThanksgiving a thing.
We used to travel for Thanksgiving, which made it my favorite holiday of the year. Travel is fun and amazing and it gives me the fuzzies. But you know what’s also fun and amazing and fuzzy? Sweatpants. I’m on a mission to style the comfiest clothes into actual outfits that you will make you feel all nostalgic and cozy even when you’re spending the holidays at home with a pumpkin pie for one.

Sweater dress + hoodie
This look is perfect for when you’re doing an all-day-hangout type gathering, where you want to be super comfortable, yet still look good for family photos. Throw the belt on over the hoodie for an edgy look, or ditch the hoodie and belt the dress for a classic style.

Sweater dress + teddy coat
Teddy coats look super stylish, but they also feel like you’re wearing a giant blanket. What’s better than that? I added a gold pendant for some shine to break up the brown on the neck and chest area, and a structured bag with angular lines to contrast the softness of the coat and dress. And if there was ever a perfect time to wear fuzzy, cheetah print mules, this is it.

Hoodie + joggers matching set
I love a good matching set because you don’t have to think about it- it just matches! This green set is a cool departure from the very common pink, gray, or beige sets, and the color just screams Christmas! to me. Throw on a belt bag to create definition around your waist and add glittery sneakers and a printed headband for something extra.

Sweats up-styled with accessories
These somewhat matching separates make for a delightfully oversized and comfortable outfit. Adding the heeled ankle boots, embellished bag and bold earrings takes this from just loungewear to an outfit. Half-tuck the sweater and push up the sleeves to add even more style-factor.

Oversized cardigan + jeggings
A classic combo that has been around for a long time, but will never go out of style. The barrettes add a little throwback nod to the 90’s, which is where I’m from.

Gray sweats w/ snakeskin boots
The ever-popular gray sweatsuit, reimagined. Although all of the items are gray, each offers a distinct texture to make the outfit interesting. The subtly printed gray leggings balance the oversized hoodie. Snakeskin boots pull everything together so it all looks intentional, not sloppy. Pull the socks up out of the boots for a layered style, or tuck them in for a streamlined look.

Don’t forget your mask!
Yup, it’s still mask season. Probably now more than ever. I purchased my masks from Old Navy back in May, and they are still going strong. The fabric is not faded, seams aren’t fraying, and the elastic ear loops aren’t stretched out. (I air dry my masks.) Plus, they are so inexpensive that you can buy a ton of them like I did, so you’ll never get bored with your masks. Now that masks are a part of our daily wardrobes, we might as well have fun with it!
