“Fall into Beauty”… that’s the kind of falling I like doing! It’s also the theme of this month’s Sephora Play Box.
I’m just going to come right out and say it- I love this Sephora Play Box! With the exception of one item, everything included is something that I am super excited to try. Or it is an old favorite that I already know I love.
Fall is my favorite time of year for so many reasons. Not the least of which, is the makeup. I love rich lip colors and smoky eyes, and so this box is giving me all the feels!
It’s so good it hardly needs an introduction. So let’s get started.
A Matte Made in Heaven
Urban Decay Vice Liquid Lipstick in Amulet // This is the item I am most excited about. I don’t have very many non-matte lip colors anymore, and the formula of this one looks like it contains an ever-so-slight shimmer. Perhaps I am wrong, but either way, I still can’t wait to create a look using it! Who knows, it just might be my vacation lipstick this year!

Brow and Forever
Benefit Gimme Brow Volumizing Fiber Gel in Deep // On the subject of vacation, I was just thinking about how I am in desperate need of a new eyebrow gel to keep my wild eyebrows from having a dance party on my face. I often hear great things about this one, so I am excited to give it a go. The tiny size is perfect for traveling, too!

Your Partner in Line
Sephora Collection Contour Eye Pencil 12hr Wear Waterproof in Black Lace // If this is anything like Sephora Collection’s Retractable Eyeliner, then this is perfect, well, almost. I love the formula of that eyeliner, so I am crossing my fingers this is similar! I’m not the biggest fan of pencils you must sharpen, but I’ll totally deal if it’s a great product. Perhaps you’ll be seeing this in an upcoming tutorial, who knows?

A Cream Come True
Belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb // I own one moisturizer that I use every day, and have been using non-stop for the last couple of years. A switch-up is definitely in order! This moisturizer seems really lightweight and refreshing at first glance, and so I think it’ll fit into my warm-weather lifestyle just swimmingly. I really dislike heavy, greasy moisturizers, which often stops me from applying any during the day. Maybe this will change that bad habit.

On the Night Side
Algenist POWER Recharging Night Pressed Serum // I don’t believe I’ve ever owned a serum, much less a pressed serum. Seriously, what is that? It’s super foreign, but I may or may not be swirling some around on the back of my hand as we speak. Or as I type, duh. If this stuff is good, it will be life changing for women on the go.

Hair We Go!
IGK Hot Girls Shampoo & Conditioner // And the final “bonus” product, a single use shampoo and conditioner packet. I’m not awfully excited about this, firstly because I’m just not really into hair products. Secondly, how well can I get to know a product after only one use? I mean, if the goal is to get me to purchase this shampoo and conditioner, this isn’t the way to go about it. I’ll save this for a light packing overnight trip where I need a use it and forget it type sample. Just being honest.

A little bit about Sephora Play Box
In case you didn’t already know, Sephora Play Box is a monthly beauty subscription box that costs $10.00 USD per month, (subject to local taxes.) Currently, it ships only within the United States, but I am sure Sephora is working on getting it available worldwide very soon.
Each box comes with five “official” items, plus one “bonus” item. In most cases, the bonus item is a perfume sample, but in this case I received a shampoo & conditioner foil packet. You also receive a little pamphlet explaining each of the products, plus a card that you can take into your local Sephora store and redeem for 50 Beauty Insider points.
All of this comes packaged in a cute branded box, along with a little cosmetic bag. Side note: I’ve really been loving the new style of bags that have been included for the last few months. They are much roomier than other bags, so you can actually fit things in them. Plus, they’re super lightweight and perfect for packing small items when traveling.
That’s all for today!
