There’s never a bad time for lipstick. But in the Fall? Well, that’s definitely a great time for lipstick.
Today I’m shining the spotlight on all the lipsticks I’ve been LOVING this fall. Some I’ve talked about before, and some are new to me, and some I’ve been secretly adoring behind the scenes for a long time. It’s a good mix.
I get bored pretty easily when it comes to lip products, and so I almost never have just one type that I stick to. This fall, I am equally in love with matte liquid lipsticks, créme formulas, sheer pigments, and shouting-from-the-rooftops metallics. Again, it’s a good mix.
I know you’ll find something in this collection that will become your new lipstick BFF this season!
Ready to hear about the best fall lipsticks ever? Let’s get started!
Super pigmented yet super comfy
Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipsticks // If you have been following The Millennial Maven for any speck of time, then you have heard me sing Amuse Bouche’s praises. I love it for basically all seasons because it is literally the perfect lipstick. I have not found one that is less than full, full coverage; I’m talking *super pigmented* goodness. The food-grade ingredients make this lipstick something you can feel good about applying on your mouth, and the scent is citrusy and divine.

For the ultra natural days
Neutrogena MoistureSmooth Color Stick in Almond Nude // I grab this on days when I can’t be bothered with matching my lipstick to the rest of my makeup. I love this formula because it looks shiny on my lips, doesn’t dry my lips out like many other glosses. Anybody else have that problem? This shade is a unique brown, yet mauve shade that is nude and muted without looking too ashy or too pink. It’s just perfect.
The perfect matte dusty pink
Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stain in Pink Tea // Remember the liquid lipstick craze from a few seasons back? Of course you do. Sephora’s offering seemed to fly under the radar the whole time and never got the attention it deserved. At $14, these are a steal! The moussy formula dries down completely matte, yet it doesn’t absolutely suck the life out of your lips like some other liquid lipstick formulas.

Light and fresh
E.l.f. Moisturizing Lipstick in Party Pink // There’s just something so easy about this shade. It’s basically my natural lip color, but in a lipstick. AKA, my lips need not go naked, and I don’t have to worry about a high-maintenance shade playing games with me. This exact shade seems to be discontinued, but E.l.f. offers several similar shades in the same awesome formula.

Berry for daysss
L’Oréal Infallible Pro Matte Gloss in Forbidden Kiss // I forgot about this one for way too long, but now it’s back in the favorites drawer! If you love the look of super full coverage, matte lips, but can’t stand the dryness that often comes with those formulas, then you should try this product. Though it’s not transfer proof, it sets to a pretty darn matte finish. This shade in particular speaks to me this fall. I love it.

Nothing screams holiday! better than this metallic
Smashbox Be Legendary Liquid Lipstick in Crimson Chrome // I have to be honest, I basically ran away screaming from metallic lipsticks when they first became popular again. Something about them just reminded me of something I would have worn in middle school in the mid-2000– something that would not be cute on 20-something year old me. I received this in a Sephora Play Box, and I was instantly hooked. Yes, it’s pretty sticky and icky, but if you can get past that, it’s probably the most beautiful lipstick that will ever grace your lips.
That’s all for today!
